Delnice

Delnice is the biggest town in Gorski Kotar. Economy is based on wood- processing. The town is located 85 km, west from Karlovec, by the main road in elevation 700 m.

Delnice has a lot of beautiful accommodation. Delnice is known as a great ski resort. Great downhill, ski jumps, ski lifts are there. Chair lift is connecting Delnice and Petehovec (1098 m) Delnice offers lot opportunities for other sports as well. Trails are from Delnice to the mountains. The most interest hike is on the mountain Veliki Drgomlj (1153) or the hike to the headwaters Kuice’s river and to the forest park Golubnjak
